SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use of Competitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of hazardous materials pickup and disposal from various facilities managed by the Texas Facilities Commission located in Austin, Texas.CONTRACT TERM: This service shall be for a period beginning on the date of PO issuance, and shall expire on August 31, 2024. The contract may be renewed for four (4) one (1) year renewal periods, provided the renewal is executed prior to expiration of the current contract term. You will be met by a TFC employee, and a walk will be conducted of the four locations within the Capitol Complex, Lot 22, CPP, SFA, and WPC.

Work Details
The hazardous materials pickup and disposal service will involve initial pick up of hazardous materials at four locations within the Capitol Complex, Lot 22, CPP, SFA, and WPC. The service will include spill containment, clean-up, and hazardous waste elimination system; vehicle maintenance and repair work; bags for hazardous material; hazardous material containment and storage; labels for hazardous material containers; hazardous environment clothing; detection and measuring equipment for hazardous environments; equipment, tools, and supplies for hazardous materials; oil, chemical, and hazardous material spill absorbents, cleaners, neutralizers, and pads; vacuum cleaners and dust collectors for hazardous material; test equipment for hazardous material; hazardous material and waste services including emergency response and nuclear wastes; decontamination services including hazardous material decontamination.

Period of Performance
The service shall be performed over a period beginning on the date of PO issuance and shall expire on August 31, 2024. The contract may be renewed for four one-year renewal periods.

The geographic location(s) where the service will be performed are various facilities managed by the Texas Facilities Commission located in Austin, Texas.
