Rfp For Blanket Order For Masonry Restoration, Brick & Paver Repairs & Installation, And Facilities Waterproofing

Background
The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is a comprehensive public university located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, recognized as a Tier-One Research University. UTA serves over 41,000 students and offers more than 180 degree programs. The university is soliciting proposals for a Blanket Order Contract for Masonry Restoration, Brick & Paver Repairs and Installation, and Facilities Waterproofing to support its facilities management operations.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform masonry restoration, brick and paver repairs and installation, and facilities waterproofing. Each task will be executed through individual Task Orders issued by the Owner, detailing the specific scope of work, materials required, and timeline for completion. The contractor must provide a written proposal for each Task Order that includes:

- A work plan
- Line item proposal
- Detailed narrative scope of work
- Construction performance schedule
- Description of HUB compliance
- Any special conditions applicable to that specific Task Order.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will last for two years from the effective date with options to renew for two additional successive two-year periods. The total potential duration of the contract could extend up to six years.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within the University of Texas at Arlington campus in Arlington, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) requirements as outlined in Exhibit H of the RFP. A HUB Subcontracting Plan Letter must be submitted with proposals. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of bonding capacity for task orders exceeding $25,000 and meet all insurance requirements specified in the RFP.
