RFP 26.07 - Grease Trap Cleaning Services

Background
The Beaumont Independent School District (BISD) is seeking proposals for grease trap cleaning services under RFP 26.07. The district aims to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with health and safety regulations for its cafeteria facilities.
This initiative is part of BISD's commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for its students and staff.

Work Details
The contractor will perform grease trap cleanouts three times a year at 25 designated sites, with the possibility of adding more locations as needed.
The schedule for cleanouts is as follows: the first cleanout must be completed by November 22, 2025; the second by March 29, 2026; and the third between May 27, 2026, and July 2026.
The contractor must furnish all labor and equipment necessary to pump and clean out grease traps, remove waste materials, and provide a City of Beaumont Regulatory Services Division Non-Hazardous Manifest for Waste Haulers for each site serviced. Compliance with all local regulations regarding waste disposal is mandatory.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is one year starting from November 1, 2025, with options to extend for up to three additional one-year terms based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Beaumont, Texas, specifically at the sites listed in the proposal documentation.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a waste hauler permit from the City of Beaumont and provide proof of insurance covering Texas Statutory Worker’s Compensation, Commercial General Liability Insurance, and Commercial Auto Liability Insurance.
Additionally, bidders must submit a completed Form 1295 from the Texas Ethics Commission along with their proposal.
