Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD) is seeking proposals for the replacement of kitchen equipment components at Katy Junior High School. Work Details
The contract involves the procurement and installation of various kitchen equipment components, including but not limited to:
- Air Screen
- Cold Storage Assembly
- Cold Storage Refrigeration System
- Cold Storage Shelving
- Dunnage racks (3)
- Pre-Rinse Sprayer for Existing Two Compartment Sink
- Disposal units (2HP and 3HP)
- Worktables
- Fire Protection Systems
- Exhaust Hoods
- Convection Ovens
- Combi Ovens
- Microwaves
- Reach-In Refrigerators
- Serving Counters
- Drop Front Milk Coolers
- Hot Water Dispensers
- Drawer Warmers
- Roll Through Refrigerators
- Heated Cabinets. Each item requires the vendor to provide equipment delivery and installation as specified in the RFP. The total estimated expenditure for this project is $1,140,000.00.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by June 1, 2026. Equipment delivery to the vendor's warehouse is required by June 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Katy Junior High School located at 5350 Franz Road, Katy TX 77493.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all specifications outlined in the RFP and provide a comprehensive bid that includes all items listed. Vendors are encouraged to indicate if they are a HUB, MWBE or SBE vendor. Additionally, vendors must maintain appropriate insurance coverage as specified in the RFP.
