Background
The City of Cleburne's City County Transportation (CCT) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, providing over 40,000 rides annually through various public transportation options. CCT aims to serve the people of Johnson County with safe and dependable transportation services that enhance community access and improve quality of life. This RFP seeks proposals for a Transit Scheduling Software to streamline scheduling and dispatching processes.
Work Details
CCT requests proposals for up-to-date transit scheduling software that includes capabilities for rural public transportation trip reservations, scheduling, dispatching, and reporting. Key features include:
- Reduction of paperwork (trip manifest, no-show/cancel reports)
- Reduction of data entry duplication
- Visibility of vehicle locations (AVL/GPS)
- Trip status tracking
- Integration with CCT contractors or other entities
- Compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act regulations and other funding source regulations.
The software must support multi-language capabilities, secure user authentication, client database management, GIS mapping functions, automated trip scheduling, real-time notifications, and comprehensive reporting functionalities. The system should also be compatible with existing hardware (Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets) and provide cloud-based support services.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution pending NCTCOG and City Council approval, with an anticipated Notice to Proceed following approval.

The services will be performed at the City of Cleburne located at 10 N. Robinson Street, Cleburne, Texas 76031.
Bidder Requirements
Offerors must demonstrate experience in providing similar software solutions within the last 2 to 5 years. They must be licensed to operate in Texas and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Offerors are required to provide financial statements upon request and must include liability insurance and worker's compensation coverage. Additionally, they must acknowledge that CCT is tax-exempt and ensure that their proposals do not include any taxes.
