RFP 2024DD-04 - Lease of Wireless Telecommunication Space on City-Owned Properties

Background
The City of Kyle is seeking proposals from qualified telecommunication companies for the placement and maintenance of telecommunications equipment on City-owned properties and water towers.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the telecommunications infrastructure within the city, ensuring efficient sending and receiving of telecommunication signals.

Work Details
The contractor will provide telecommunications equipment for lease space on City-owned property. This includes but is not limited to:
- Installation of antennas and other telecommunications equipment on designated sites.
- Maintenance of the installed equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance with all local regulations regarding telecommunications installations.
- Provision of detailed documentation regarding the need for such facilities at selected sites, including technical expertise and capabilities for construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Aesthetic considerations in the design and placement of equipment to minimize visual impact.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year, beginning on the date provided in the Notice to Proceed.
The contract may be extended for up to four additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various City-owned properties and water towers located within Kyle, Texas.
