RFI for Home Energy Rebate Community Input

Background
The State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), operated by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA), is the administering state entity for the federal Home Energy Rebate programs. These programs aim to deliver innovative efficiency and electrification initiatives to households across Texas, with the overarching goal of transitioning to more affordable, efficient, resilient, and low carbon homes.

SECO has issued two surveys to gather critical feedback from key stakeholders and end-users regarding program design and implementation.

Work Details
The RFI seeks input through two surveys: one aimed at potential program administrators, community organization leaders, and other partners to inform efficient program design; the other aimed at individual community members to ensure that rebates effectively serve their needs.

Desired respondents include homeowners, renters, installers, aggregators, industry experts, and potential program partners. Responses must be submitted via the provided survey links:
