Description

Request for Bids RFB 2025-058, ConcreteStreets Crack Sealing Project. Sealed Bids will be acceptedat the City of Waco's Operations Center, 1415 N. 4th Street, Waco,TX until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 21, 2025. The City of Waco project willconsist of Concrete Crack Sealing of 1.29 lane miles on various City streets inDistricts 1 and 2. Background
The City of Waco, Texas is issuing a Request for Bids (RFB No. 2025-058) for the Concrete Streets Crack Sealing Project. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure by sealing cracks on various city streets in Districts 1 and 2, thereby improving road safety and longevity. The City is committed to maintaining its streets and ensuring they are safe for public use.

Work Details
The project consists of Concrete Crack Sealing over a total of 1.29 lane miles on various City streets. The work includes:

1. Mobilization
2. Traffic Control Plan and Implementation
3. Erosion Control Plan and Implementation
4. Preparation of Right of Way (25.5 STA)
5. Concrete Street Surface Repair (1,150 SY)
6. Concrete Saw Cut (16,637 LF)
7. Concrete Joint Seal (TxDOT ITEM 713) (16,637 LF)
8. Concrete Crack Seal (TxDOT ITEM 780) (128,604 SF).

Additionally, there is an Add Alternate for concrete channel work that includes similar joint sealing and crack sealing tasks using SuperSealing USA - ADVENTUS products.

Period of Performance
The anticipated duration for the completion of this project is 100 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed by the City.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on various City streets located in Districts 1 and 2 within Waco, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must self-perform at least 30% of the contract work and submit Minority, Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWB/E) status for any subcontractors used. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount is required with submissions.
