RFB 6485 Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings

Background
The City of Corpus Christi is issuing this Request for Bids (RFB No. 6485) to procure ductile iron pipe fittings. The City aims to enhance its water infrastructure by sourcing high-quality fittings necessary for the installation and maintenance of water lines. Work Details
The Contractor shall provide ductile iron pipe fittings and accessories as specified in the Bid Form. Key requirements include:
- Shipping of products within two weeks of order receipt.
- Deliveries must be made to 2726 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
- All prices are F.O.B. destination with inside delivery and freight prepaid.
- A technical data sheet must accompany each delivery, and products not conforming to specifications will not be accepted.
- The Contractor is responsible for return shipments of defective or unusable products at their cost.
- CCW may cancel backorders if delivery deadlines are not met.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution by the City Manager and issuance of a notice to proceed, lasting for one year with two optional one-year extensions.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the City of Corpus Christi at 2726 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have operated continuously for a minimum of three years providing similar services. They should have no outstanding lawsuits or regulatory issues that could affect their ability to perform. Additionally, bidders must submit various forms including references, a disclosure of interest form, a business designation form, and an ethical behavior form.
