Background
The City of Corpus Christi is seeking bids from firms interested and qualified in providing liquid cationic polymer (polyDADMAC) for the treatment of potable drinking water. The term of this contract will be for one year with two one-year options. The schedule for this procurement includes the release date, pre-bid conference, requests for clarification from bidders, bid due/bid opening, projected date of contract award, and anticipated notice to proceed.

Work Details
The scope of work includes general requirements/background information, scope of work, delivery and weighing requirements, OSHA and training, ownership, billing, and invoicing.
Specific bid requirements include submission of a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), delivery of a minimum 100 ml sample of the material bid to the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant for evaluation purposes, performance of Jar Test in the Process Lab at ONSWTP to demonstrate the applicability of the offered PolyDadmac solution, notification requirement for any changes during the term of the contract, proof of operating continuously for a minimum of 3 years as an established firm in providing liquid cationic polymer (polyDADMAC), absence of outstanding lawsuits or regulatory issues that may affect ability to provide the work described herein.
Additionally, references, conflict of interest questionnaire, disclosure of interest form, business designation form, contractor’s ethical behavior form, and Form 1295 'Certificate of Interested Parties' are required.
Evaluation factors include lowest responsive, responsible bidder.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on execution and continue for the specified term. Any quantities described are estimates and do not obligate the City to order or accept more than its actual requirements during the term.

Place of Performance
The liquid cationic polymer (polyDADMAC) will be used for treatment at the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant located at 13101 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
