Restaurants and Catering Services

Background
The Spring Independent School District (District) is seeking competitive sealed proposals to identify vendors for Restaurants and Catering Services. The goal of this contract is to support the needs of the District in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP).

The total estimated value of this contract is greater than $100,000 annually, depending on the District's needs over the contract period.

Work Details
The services required include providing restaurant and catering services to support staff and students. This may involve orders picked up by District staff or delivered to various campuses or department locations.

The District meal allowance for catering events is currently set at $20 per person. Vendors are expected to provide a list of all restaurant locations that can be utilized under this contract, along with a menu example and necessary food delivery certifications and permits.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will run from February 11, 2026, through February 8, 2027. After this period, the District may either re-bid the contract or extend it on a month-to-month basis until a new contract is awarded.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Spring Independent School District, located in Houston, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide a completed Form W-9, a copy of their current Food Service Manager’s Certificate, and any applicable Food Delivery Certifications and Permits such as the Department of Health Food Dealer’s Permit.

Additionally, vendors must comply with insurance requirements including Worker’s Compensation and General Liability Insurance as specified in the solicitation.
