Record Crossing Demolition RFP

Background
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, a leading academic medical center known for its research and clinical care, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the demolition of the Demo Life Care Building and Convenience Stores located at 1902, 1904, and 1906 Record Crossing.

The goal of this contract is to safely and efficiently demolish these structures as part of ongoing facility improvements.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition of the Demo Life Care Building and Convenience Stores at the specified addresses. This includes all necessary preparations, execution of demolition activities, debris removal, and site restoration as per the project specifications.

The contractor must adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines throughout the demolition process.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence following the award on April 25, 2025, with specific timelines outlined in the project schedule provided in the RFP documentation.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 1902, 1904, and 1906 Record Crossing.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate compliance with various prerequisites including reading and understanding project conditions, safety requirements, and other specifications outlined in the RFP. Contractors must also provide proof of certification regarding franchise tax status and compliance with Texas Governor Executive Order GA-48.

Additionally, bidders are required to submit a completed Hub Subcontracting Plan.
