Work Details
The contract involves supplying Quicklime (Re-Bid) for two facilities: the John T. Hickerson Water Reclamation Facility, which requires approximately 30-35 tons annually, and the Fred Hervey Water Reclamation Plant, which has a projected usage of about 5,000 tons annually. The Quicklime must meet specific specifications including compliance with ANSI/NSF Standard 60 and AWWA Standard B202. Key requirements include:

- Minimum 90% available calcium oxide.
- Slaking rate producing a temperature rise of 40°C in three minutes.
- Must pass through a 1/4-inch sieve with at least 99% compliance.
- Delivery must be made in properly equipped trucks and accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award by the Public Service Board and will last for one year, with options to extend for up to four additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The deliveries will be made to EPWater facilities located in El Paso, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) with their proposal. They must also comply with local laws regarding residency status as either 'Resident' or 'Non-Resident' bidders.
