PW - 103420 - Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2020, WSM-J

Background
The City of Fort Worth is issuing this solicitation for the Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2020, WSM-J, under Project No. 103420. The goal of this contract is to improve the water and sanitary sewer infrastructure within the city, ensuring reliable service and compliance with municipal standards.

Work Details
The major work will consist of the following:

• 2070 LF of 24” Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) or C303 Water Pipe
• 5500 LF of 12” PVC C900 Water Pipe
• 9830 LF of 8” PVC C900 Water Pipe
• 5250 LF of 8” PVC Sewer Pipe
• 34530 Square Yards of Pavement Pulverization and a 3” Overlay
• 20700 Square Yards of Pavement with a 2” Mill and Overlay.

Additionally, various other items such as construction staking, red line as-built surveys, water line grouting, and temporary asphalt pavement repairs are included in the scope.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 720 days from the date when the contract time commences.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must complete a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and may need to provide a Local Government Officer Conflicts Disclosure Statement if affiliated with certain city officials. Additionally, bidders must be prequalified for specific work types including water transmission and sewer collection systems.
