Background
The City of Port Arthur, Texas, is seeking bids for the purchase of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel and Gasoline. This contract aims to ensure a reliable supply of fuel for the city's operations, including transit and utility services. The contract will be for an initial period of 12 months with options for two additional one-year renewals.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel and 87 Octane Gasoline with 10% Ethanol. Deliveries will be made to various city locations, including:

- Transit Department at 301 4th Street: Estimated annual usage of 48,000 gallons of diesel (average order of 4,000 gallons) and 20,000 gallons of gasoline (average order of 2,000 gallons).

- Utility Operations at 2901 Hwy. 365: Estimated annual usage of 2,000 gallons of diesel (average order of 2,000 gallons).

- Pleasure Island at 900 T.B. Ellison: Estimated annual usage of 48,000 gallons of gasoline (average order of 2,500 gallons).

All deliveries must be made within one workday after orders are placed. The fuel must meet specific quality standards and be delivered using properly equipped trucks. The contractor must also provide an emergency delivery plan for natural disasters or emergencies.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is set for a duration of 12 months, with options to renew for two additional one-year periods.
