Background
The City of Rosenberg is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of a natural gas generator at the Rosenberg Civic Center, located at 3825 State Highway 36 S, Rosenberg, TX 77471. This project aims to provide an emergency power system to serve two buildings in the Civic Center complex, ensuring continuity of operations during power outages caused by natural hazards. The project will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards, as well as FEMA regulations since federal financial assistance will be used to fund all or part of the contract.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide the following:
- One (1) 400KW natural gas generator installed on an engineered concrete pad.
- One (1) 800-amp Automatic Transfer Switch.
- One (1) 400A and one (1) 100A MCLB protector feeders.
- One (1) 400A Automatic Transfer Switch.
- One (1) 100kva 480v 3ph primary to 240/120V 3 Ph 4W secondary transformer.
- Furnish and install battery charger and block heater circuits for the generator.

The contractor must also coordinate with the gas service provider for all necessary permits and installation of gas lines from the gas main to the meter and from the meter to the generator.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution by both parties and continue until project completion as determined by the City.
