Provide Electric Kettle for Denton State Supported Living Center

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services system, responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of health and human services in Texas.

The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitation for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts to provide Electric Kettles for the Denton State Supported Living Center, which will be utilized by both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of Electric Kettles specifically designed for use at the Denton State Supported Living Center. Bidders must ensure that the products meet specified quality standards and characteristics as outlined in the IFB.

If bidding on products other than those specified, bidders must include sufficient literature to allow evaluation. Reworked products or previously refused items will not be accepted, and unauthorized substitutions are prohibited without prior written approval from HHSC.

Delivery guidelines include strict adherence to speed limits, designated parking areas, and specific delivery times between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, excluding a lunch period from 11:00 AM to Noon.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term will begin on February 25, 2025, and expire on August 31, 2025. There is an option for extension for up to one additional year at the discretion of HHSC, subject to funding availability.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Denton State Supported Living Center located in Denton, Texas.
