Description

Irving Independent School District is accepting proposals and seeking highly qualified respondents for the "as needed" purchase and/or Rental of STAFF UNIFORMS AND RELATED ITEMS. Vendors awarded on the original RFP 22-82-737 may respond to new items in Line Item Tab in RED. The district will award this RFP to multiple respondents based on the evaluation of all proposals received. The term of award will be one (1) year from August 20, 2025 to August 19, 2026. Although we are legally required to accept paper bids, we strongly request bidders submit their response electronically. Please feel free to contact the Irving ISD Purchasing Office at 972-600-5440 if you require any assistance with this submittal. When filing this bid electronically, please do not send us a paper copy, as the electronic version will prevail. NO emailed or Faxed bids will be accepted. Your cooperation is appreciated. Please be advised, no late or incomplete bids will be accepted. Specific questions pertaining to this RFP/RFQ must be directed in writing to the purchasing buyer, Jennifer Bryan at jbryan@irvingisd.net.

Irving Independent School District (Irving ISD) is a school district located in Irving, Texas, serving approximately 33,000 students across various educational institutions. Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and/or rental of staff uniforms and related items with the Irving ISD logo. Specific clothing items include:

- Button-down shirts
- T-shirts
- Pants
- Jeans
- Jackets
- Vests
- Smocks
- Aprons
- Hats
- Bags

Vendors must provide samples for sizing upon request. The initial order quantities are specified in the Line Item Tab of the RFP. Uniforms must be durable, comfortable, easy to care for, and available in various sizes (Small to 4XL). Specific brands mentioned include Port Authority Diamond Jacquard Polo K569, Gildan 8800, Dickies D1574, and others. A uniform rental program may also be offered that includes fitting, delivery, pick-up, laundry service (if requested), and replacements as needed.

The services will be performed at various locations within Irving ISD in Irving, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including those related to criminal background checks under SB 9 for employees who will have contact with students. Vendors are encouraged to submit a subcontracting plan for utilizing historically underutilized businesses (HUB), minority/women business enterprises (M/WBE), or disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). All required forms must be executed for the proposal to be considered responsive.
