Project No. 24-112 RLC Exterior Window and Interior Door Replacement

Background
The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division (HSCS), is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for the selection of a General Contractor to provide general construction and construction administration services for Project No. 24-112 RLC Exterior Window and Interior Door Replacement.

This project aims to enhance the facilities operated by HHSC, which oversees health and human services programs across Texas, including 13 state-supported living centers and 10 state hospitals.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the provision of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to furnish and install replacement exterior windows and selected interior doors in five buildings: 503, 525, 526, 527, and 528.

The contractor is expected to adhere to the specifications outlined in Attachment(s) H of Exhibit C, which includes project specifications and drawings.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon the anticipated contract start date of September 14, 2025. The estimated cost for construction is approximately $1,491,851.00.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at specified buildings within the facilities managed by HHSC in Texas.
