Project 25-39 Porter Park Phase 1 Site Package for Community Development

Background
The Montgomery County Purchasing Agent is issuing an Invitation to Bid for Project 25-39, which involves the Porter Park Phase 1 Site Package aimed at community development. The project is funded with Federal dollars and/or from the Community Development Block Grant Program.

Montgomery County emphasizes its commitment to supporting Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), Minority Owned Businesses (MBE), Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE), and Small and Disadvantaged Businesses.

Work Details
The work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, mobilization, bonding, permits and fees, data, and all necessary administration and construction support services required to prepare the site and successfully fabricate and install the specified site development improvements as described in accordance with the Contract Documents.

This includes compliance with Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates and ensuring that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) have maximum opportunity to participate in the contract performance.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe starting from the bid submission deadline of September 17, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Porter Park located in Montgomery County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Bond from an approved surety company in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will also need to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project.

Bidders are encouraged to comply with various federal regulations including those related to civil rights and affirmative action.
