Professional Land Surveying Services

Background
The Houston Community College (HCC) is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified firms to provide Professional Land Surveying Services. The objective is to select vendors who can assist HCC in land and topographical surveying of various properties on an 'as needed' basis. This initiative aligns with HCC's mission to serve its diverse community by providing essential educational and operational support.

Work Details
The selected firm(s) will perform a variety of land surveying tasks, including but not limited to:
- Boundary lines, including length and bearing on each straight line; interior angles; radius, point of tangency, and length of curved lines.
- Legal descriptions with measurements for comparison with recorded deeds.
- Area calculations in square feet or acres.
- Identification of adjoining street jurisdictions, widths, and paving details.
- Plotted locations of structures on the property and adjacent properties within 30 feet, including dimensions and character descriptions.
- Documentation of encroachments, fences, walls, easements, right-of-way details, and anticipated street widenings.
- Topographical surveys including contours at 1-foot intervals, spot elevations at specified intervals, utility locations, floodplain information, and tree species identification.

Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to be two (2) years with options for three (3) additional one-year renewals. The services will be performed on an 'as needed' basis as projects arise.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across various properties managed by HCC within its service area which includes Houston Independent School District and surrounding regions.
