Portable Toilet Rental for Ports of Entry at Los Indios, Brownsville, and Pharr, TX

Background
The Department of Public Safety (DPS) of the State of Texas is soliciting bids for the rental and servicing of portable toilets at three Ports of Entry: Los Indios, Brownsville, and Pharr. The goal of this contract is to ensure that adequate sanitation facilities are available for personnel and visitors at these locations, adhering to health and safety standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide ADA-compliant portable toilets equipped with a wall-mounted urinal, bench-style toilet with seat and cover, a hand sanitizer dispenser, and a multi-roll lockable toilet paper dispenser.

Services include weekly cleaning which involves pumping out the holding tank, restocking supplies, disinfecting all surfaces, inspecting for damage, and ensuring proper operation. The contractor must maintain a log indicating service dates. In case of any damage to the toilets, repairs or replacements must be made within 24 hours. The contractor is responsible for proper cleanup and disposal during servicing.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the effective date stated in the signing document and will last for four years. DPS reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional six months if necessary.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three locations:
- Los Indios POE (609 South FM 509, Los Indios, Texas 78567)
- Los Tomates POE (Veterans Bridge, 2301 Courage Street, Brownsville, Texas 78521)
- Pharr POE (301 Capote Central Avenue, Pharr, Texas 78577).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that all employees have passed required background checks to avoid service interruptions. Additionally, bidders must submit a completed Application for Texas Identification Number (AP-152) and Request for Taxpayer Identification Number (W-9) Form with their bid. The contractor must provide evidence of insurance coverage as required by DPS.
