Portable Container Cleaning System

Background
The Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Board (Airport Board) is seeking to procure a Portable Container Cleaning System to enhance operational efficiency in maintaining cleanliness of various containers at the airport.
The system is intended to provide a reliable solution for washing the interior surfaces of open-head containers, such as trash cans and food/beverage bins, utilizing advanced cleaning technology.

Work Details
The Portable Container Cleaning System must be an industrial-grade, portable cleaning station capable of efficiently washing the interior surfaces of various open-head containers.
Key specifications include:
- Cleaning Mechanism: Rotating jet-head assembly providing orbital cleaning coverage.
- Nozzle Configuration: Minimum of two stream nozzles, configurable up to four nozzles for increased impact.
- Pressure Requirements: Compatible with pressure washers delivering between 870 psi and 2000 psi.
- Flow Rate & Temperature: Minimum flow rate of 4 gpm; capable of handling cold and hot water up to 185°F.
- Spray Performance: Minimum spray coverage of 6–10 feet; minimum spray pattern of 240°; maximum nozzle rotation speed of 120 rpm.
- Material Construction: Frame and components made from corrosion-resistant materials (316 stainless steel and anodized aluminum); seals made from Viton and PTFE for chemical and heat resistance.
- Portability: Mobile unit with integrated frame and wheels for easy transport.
- Safety & Filtration: High-pressure 'Y' filter (minimum 700-micron stainless steel mesh) included.
- Efficiency: Capable of completing a full wash cycle in 1 to 5 minutes.
- Versatility: Includes a 'T' connector and on/off valve for switching between the container cleaner and standard pressure-washing wand.
Deliverables include one fully assembled portable cart cleaning unit, at least 25 feet of high-pressure, steel-braided hose, necessary fittings for standard connections, and a minimum one-year limited warranty on the equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed until April 17, 2026, with quotes valid for 60 days.

Place of Performance
Delivery is required to be made to the Central Warehouse at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, located at 3122 East 30th Street, DFW Airport, Texas 75261.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must provide options for extended warranties if specific detergents are utilized. Suppliers must demonstrate that proposed products are equivalent to referenced models at their own expense if requested by the Airport Board.
