PMD - Expansion of RTCC Facility

Background
The City of Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the expansion of the RTCC Facility located at 3900 Barnett St, Fort Worth, Texas. The project aims to enhance the facility's capabilities and services. The estimated construction cost is approximately $2,599,681.00.

The City intends to select the proposer that offers the best value and enter into negotiations with that firm after evaluating submitted proposals.

Work Details
The contract involves the construction and completion of improvements as per the provided plans and specifications. Proposals must include a 7.5% Owner’s Contingency Allowance based on the proposer’s cost proposal, which will be included in the contract amount at a later stage.

Proposers are required to submit a bid bond with their proposal and must provide Payment and Performance Bonds along with Contractors General Liability insurance and Statutory Workers Compensation Coverage prior to contract award. A Small Business Utilization goal of 30% is set for this project.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed, which will not be issued until all required bonds and insurance are in place. Proposals shall remain valid for 120 calendar days from submission.

The work will be performed at the RTCC Facility located at 3900 Barnett St, Fort Worth, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
