Platform Lift Replacement

Background
The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors for the removal and installation of a new platform lift with electrical services at the California Crossing Readiness Center located at 1775 California Crossing Road, Dallas, TX 75220.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation of a compliant and functional platform lift that meets safety and operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, delivery, transportation, hoisting, and installation necessary to complete the project. Specific tasks include:
- Removing and properly disposing of the existing Wheel-O-Vator platform lift;
- Providing and installing a new Garaventa Model GVL-EN-120 (or approved equal) platform lift;
- Including costs for installing and modifying electrical service to the new platform lift;
- Providing all necessary hoisting;
- Verifying proper operation;
- Providing State Elevator Inspection to TMD Project Manager;
- Supplying manufacturer's cut-sheets outlining product specifications.

The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA standards.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be performed during normal business hours from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential for extended hours if coordinated with TMD Project Manager.

The contractor must provide a timeline for completion from notice of award to substantial completion within their proposal.
