PK-12 Tier 1 Open Education Resources Sourced Texts, Custom-Built Resources Instructional Materials, And Developed Core & Supplemental Open Education Resources Instructional Materials

Background
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is requesting responses from contractors for three unique projects in this procurement cycle. The projects involve the procurement, sourcing, development, and customization of fully developed grade-appropriate Open Education Resources (OER) Tier 1 High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) for PreK-12 students in Texas.

Work Details
Project 1 seeks existing content to support the procurement of HQIM.
Project 2 aims to develop custom-built Tier 1 instructional materials.
Project 3 focuses on reviewing and customizing already developed Core and Supplemental Tier 1 Instructional Materials for Texas students. Contractors must align with TEA's priorities and timelines, work with state standards and research-based instructional strategies, and demonstrate experience in project management, research and evaluation, and collaboration.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed on a rolling basis as needed. Responses are due by February 19, 2024, with contract negotiations commencing thereafter. Anticipated start dates for contracts vary depending on the project.
