Personal Protective Equipment (PPE

Background
The City of El Paso is issuing a solicitation for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Clothing, Cleaning, and Repair services primarily for the Fire Department. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Fire Department has access to necessary PPE and maintenance services to support their operations effectively.
The City reserves the right to adjust the schedule of events as necessary.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various PPE items and maintenance services, including:
- Patch Fabric for holes or tears in outer shells in small (2" x 2"), medium (4" x 4"), and large (6" x 6") sizes.
- Repair services for zippers, stitching, cuffs on coats and pants, Velcro replacements, reflective tape replacements, refurbishing pockets, and hardware replacements.
- Specialized cleaning services for tar or paint stains and seam tape for moisture barriers.
- Advanced cleaning and inspection services for structural coats and pants with specified minimum and maximum quantities outlined in the bid form.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award in March 2026 and may include options to extend for two additional years at the same unit prices if exercised prior to expiration.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of El Paso, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a complete bid covering all items listed; failure to bid on all items will result in a non-responsive bid. Bidders are also required to demonstrate experience with comparable contracts within the past five years.
