Pearson Farms Pavement Improvements

Background
The City of Frisco is seeking bids for the Pearson Farms Pavement Improvements project, which involves the removal and replacement of concrete pavement with curb and gutter on Morgan Hill Road and Old Barn Drive. This project also includes identified sections of sidewalk and a storm drain RCP repair within the Pearson Farms subdivision. The total budget for this contract is not to exceed $750,000, and the anticipated Notice to Proceed is set for March 1, 2026.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Removal and replacement of all identified pavement, flex base, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and curbs and gutters at specified locations.
- Compliance with City of Frisco Engineering Standard Specifications.
- All concrete pours must be scheduled with the City’s representative.
- Concrete requirements include:
- Sidewalk concrete must be Class 'A', minimum 3000 psi.
- Barrier-free ramps must be Class 'P1', 4000 psi.
- Pavement shall be Class 'P1' (machine finished) or 'P2' (hand finished) with respective compressive strengths of 4000 psi or 4500 psi.
- The project will be executed in two phases per location as detailed in the traffic control plans.
- The Contractor is responsible for any necessary irrigation repairs, adjustments to meter/irrigation boxes, and damages to private property during construction.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date of March 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will take place in the Pearson Farms subdivision located in Frisco, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit an original bid plus a digital copy on CD or flash drive unless submitting electronically through Bonfire. Bids must include Maintenance, Performance, and Payment bonds within ten business days of award. Bidders are encouraged to involve small businesses and qualified minority/women-owned businesses in their proposals.
