Parking Lot Lighting Replacements and Lot Renovations, Stafford Campus

Background
Houston Community College (HCC) is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Stafford Parking Lot Lighting Replacements and Lot Renovations. HCC serves a diverse community by offering various educational programs and plays a vital role in transforming lives through education. The project aims to enhance safety and security through improved lighting and resurfacing of the parking lot, covering an area of 138,459 sq. ft. located at 10041 Cash Road, Stafford, TX 77477.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, supplies, permits, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the following tasks:

- Demolish existing parking pole lights and bases; remove existing branch circuit feeder and raceway back to source.
- Demolish existing weather heads, riser conduit, power meter, and panelboard.
- Coordinate with the power company for disconnecting and reconnecting electrical service.
- Provide new riser conduit and weather head; install new underground secondary service lateral.
- Install lighting control systems including testing and commissioning.
- Form and pour new light pole bases.
- Provide conduit and pull strings as required for security systems.
- Provide power for Code Blue Station; coordinate final stub up with installer prior to rough-in.
- Repair concrete from demolition activities.
- Resurface parking lot and provide new striping as per plan documents.
- Conduct all necessary testing and cleaning of the site area upon completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon Notice to Proceed with substantial completion expected within a specified number of calendar days after that date.

The work will be performed at Houston Community College's Stafford Campus located at 10041 Cash Road, Stafford, TX 77477.
