Parking Garage Cleaning And Striping

Background
The State Preservation Board is seeking bidders to provide cleaning and striping services for four parking garages located in Austin, Texas. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the parking facilities are maintained in a clean and safe condition, enhancing the overall experience for users.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and everything necessary to perform cleaning and striping of four different parking garages: Texas State Capitol Extension Garage, Visitors Parking Garage, Bullock Texas State History Museum Garage, and Robert E Johnson Building Parking Garage P.

Specific tasks include:
- Cleaning: Remove all oil, dirt, debris, gum, and contaminants from parking surfaces and concrete wheel stops. Protect water thresholds during cleaning. Use low-pressure steam cleaning with a maximum pressure of 1500 psi and 210 °F water temperature. Reclaim all water used during the cleaning process.
- Striping: Repaint and re-stencil designated parking areas including standard vehicle spaces and accessible parking spots. Ensure compliance with spacing guidelines for standard and accessible spaces. Use high-quality traffic striping paint approved by the Project Manager. Apply at least one coat of paint with a second coat if necessary for durability.

Period of Performance
All services must be completed within four weeks of the project start date. Work will be performed after normal business hours, starting as early as 8 PM but no later than 10 PM, with completion by 6 AM.
