Oxygen Tank Rental and Refill Services for The Denton State Supported Living Center.

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for Oxygen Tank Rental and Refill Services for The Denton State Supported Living Center. Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The required services include rental of tanks and delivery of medical oxygen to be used at Denton State Supported Living Center (Denton SSLC). The contractor shall provide cylinder gases and rentals for facility maintenance throughout the fiscal year. Specific items include:
- Acetylene 360 cu. ft. cylinders
- Argon T Steel; 300 cu. ft. cylinders
- Oxygen USP K (OX M-K)
- Oxygen USP AW Grabngo OTI
- Oxygen USP AE Grabngo Vant
- Industrial Med High Pressure <50CF W/XRS
- Med High Pressure >50CF
- Industrial High Pressure >100CF

The contractor must furnish all tanks, oxygen, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary. Medical oxygen cylinders required are 244-cubic foot and 23-cubic foot cylinders with specific requirements regarding their condition and labeling. Delivery of refilled tanks shall occur on Mondays and Thursdays each week including holidays.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is the date of award with services expected to continue throughout the fiscal year.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Denton State Supported Living Center located at 3980 State School Road, Denton, TX 76210.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years' relevant experience in providing similar services. All personnel assigned must also have at least three years’ relevant experience. Bidders must provide a minimum of three verifiable references for current or previous contracts of similar size within the last three years.
