Mobile Phlebotomy Services Provider RFP

Background
The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide Mobile Phlebotomy Services for new and potential patients. This initiative aims to enhance the timely availability of laboratory test results, including genomics testing, which is critical for cancer care and treatment decisions. The goal is to select suppliers that can provide licensed and experienced phlebotomists in good standing with the State of Texas and other applicable states as necessary.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing mobile phlebotomy services across Texas and nationwide. This includes:
- Performing blood draws at patient-selected locations such as homes or offices.
- Ensuring timely collection and delivery of specimens to laboratories.
- Providing necessary supplies for blood collection, including PPE, blood collection tubes, syringes, and other required materials.
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant health regulations and standards.
- Reporting on specimen collection metrics and ensuring patient identification protocols are followed.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a period specified in the final agreement, with options for renewal based on performance evaluations.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations across Texas and potentially nationwide, depending on patient needs.
