Median Landscape Maintenance RFP

Background
The City of League City is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) # 26-023 for Median Landscape Maintenance.
The goal of this contract is to maintain the aesthetics and health of median landscapes throughout the city, which is part of their commitment to enhancing community spaces and ensuring environmental sustainability.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services:
- Regular maintenance of median landscapes including mowing, trimming, and weeding.
- Installation of new plants and flowers as needed to ensure vibrant and healthy landscapes.
- Irrigation system management to ensure efficient water usage.
- Removal of debris and litter from median areas.
- Seasonal planting and maintenance activities to adapt to changing weather conditions.
- Compliance with all local regulations regarding landscaping and environmental protection.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for a period of three years, with options for renewal based on performance evaluations.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within the city limits of League City, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have experience in landscape maintenance, possess necessary licenses and insurance, and demonstrate capability in managing similar contracts.
Preference may be given to local contractors or those with a proven track record in municipal landscape projects.
