McKinney Urban Transit District Shared Ride/On-Demand Service

Background
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is a public transportation agency serving 13 cities in the Dallas, Texas Metroplex. DART provides various transportation services, including bus, light-rail systems, commuter rail lines, ride-share programs, curb-side services for mobility-impaired individuals, and transit educational services.

The Authority is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide turnkey service utilizing Software as a Service (SaaS) to manage the operations of the McKinney Urban Transit District (MUTD) shared ride/on-demand service.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a comprehensive SaaS solution to manage the MUTD shared ride/on-demand service. This includes but is not limited to:

- Operational management of ride requests
- Scheduling and dispatching of vehicles
- Customer communication interfaces
- Data analytics for performance monitoring
- Compliance with ADA regulations.

The contractor will also be responsible for integrating technology solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a three-month startup phase followed by ongoing operational management as specified in the contract terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic areas served by the McKinney Urban Transit District in Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must demonstrate qualifications as a business entity with relevant past performance in transit or transportation industries. They should provide examples of experience with similar ADA Microtransit services and demonstrate capability to meet ADA & Title VI regulations.

Offerors are required to submit an Intent to Perform as a Subcontractor form for any proposed subcontractors and comply with DART's Small Business Concern provisions.
