Maintenance and Support Services

Background
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is seeking to contract services for maintenance and support of the EDAX Octane Elect Plus/Apex System. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of the equipment used in environmental monitoring, which is critical to TCEQ's mission of protecting the environment and public health.

Work Details
The contractor will provide maintenance support services for the EDAX x-ray system located in room 2002, Building B, 12100 Park 35 Circle, Austin, Texas 78753. Services include:

1. Regularly scheduled preventive maintenance checks that involve inspection, testing, repairs, and adjustments according to specifications in the EDAX installation/service manual.

2. Unlimited on-site emergency and on-demand service if remote diagnostics fail to resolve issues.

3. Unlimited technical phone support available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST.

4. Documentation including a written statement listing corrective actions taken, a completed preventative maintenance checklist, and a calibration certificate after each visit.

5. A 30-day guarantee on work performed for each separate issue on all material installed by the technician.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon issuance of the purchase order and will last for one year.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at TCEQ's facility located at 12100 Park 35 Circle, Austin, Texas 78753.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of one year experience with EDAX Octane Elect Plus/Apex systems and cannot subcontract any of the services rendered. Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable state laws and regulations regarding procurement.
