Lubbock Hvac Air Filter Replacement Contract

Background
The Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas (DPS) is issuing this solicitation for a contract to remove and replace all HVAC air filters at the Lubbock Regional Headquarters located at 1404 Lubbock Business Park Blvd, Lubbock, TX 79403.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems through regular maintenance and replacement of air filters.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of all HVAC air filters at the specified location.

This includes ensuring that all filters meet the required specifications as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) exhibit. The contractor must provide all necessary materials and labor to complete this task efficiently and in compliance with DPS standards.

Period of Performance
The contract term commences on September 1, 2025, and will expire five years from that effective date.

There is an option for a six-month extension if necessary for re-advertising or transitioning to a new contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Lubbock Regional Headquarters located at 1404 Lubbock Business Park Blvd, Lubbock, TX 79403.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) participation requirements as outlined in Texas Government Code Chapter 2161.

Bidders are required to submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) with their response. Additionally, bidders must provide evidence of financial stability and may need to undergo a criminal history background check for personnel involved in the contract.
