LIGHTING INSTALLATION at Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site Washington County, Texas

Background
The Texas Historical Commission (THC) is seeking bids for the installation of lighting at the Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site in Washington County, Texas. The goal of this contract is to enhance the lighting in the parking lot area by replacing one existing light pole and two previously removed light poles and lights. This will improve safety and visibility for visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary materials and labor to complete the following tasks:

1. Remove existing light pole and lights.
2. Install three new 35-foot light poles using existing bases.
3. Provide an LED lighting package that includes:
- one McGraw Edison GALN-SA4D 740Volt T3,
- one McGraw Edison GALN-SA4D 740Volt T4ft,
- one McGraw Edison GALN-SA4D 740Volt 5WQ or equivalent brightness and light distribution.

The contractor must also connect electrical service to the new light packages. All work must comply with specifications outlined in Exhibit II Price Schedule, including warranty provisions upon final acceptance of work.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence on April 27, 2026, with a completion deadline of May 30, 2026. The total duration for completing the work is approximately 90 days from the award date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site located in Washington County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience related to similar projects to be eligible for contract award. Additionally, bidders are required to submit proof of insurance as specified in Exhibit XII, Section 4. The contract does not require a Veteran Heroes United in Business (VetHUB) subcontracting plan due to its value being under $100K.
