LED Traffic Signal Lamp Units

The work requested under this contract involves the provision of LED Traffic Signal Lamp Units. The City of Plano is seeking qualified vendors to supply these units as part of its ongoing traffic signal infrastructure needs. The estimated value of this project is $45,000. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted electronically through IonWave at planotx.ionwave.net; questions submitted by phone or email will not be answered. The preferred method for submitting proposals is electronically via IonWave. However, if submitting a bid or proposal in person, Procurement personnel will be available to receive documents on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Upon arrival, the person delivering the bid/proposal must call (972) 941-7557 and wait in the lobby for assistance. All in-person submissions must be in a sealed envelope and delivered to the City of Plano Procurement Division, 1520 K Avenue, Plano, TX 75074. All responses must be received before the published closing date and time; late responses will not be accepted. Bids and proposals will be opened, and the names of offerors read, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT at City Hall. Tabulations will be available on IonWave within 48 hours of the opening, and may be available sooner. To minimize in-person exposure, it is requested that tabulations be viewed electronically through IonWave. For time-critical deliveries, the City of Plano cannot guarantee that bids/proposals sent via US mail will be received by the closing deadline due to internal procedures. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that critical submissions be made electronically through IonWave or delivered in person as described. Additionally, users should verify that all electronic response attachments are accessible and viewable after upload.
