Background
The Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas is issuing a solicitation for janitorial services at their office located at 5816 Azle Avenue, Lakeworth, Texas. The contract aims to ensure cleanliness and sanitation within the facility, which spans 10,270 usable square feet.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services including daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining floors. Specific duties include:
- General Cleaning: Dust or damp wipe public areas, clean drinking fountains, wash doors and baseboards, empty exterior ashtrays, and pick up trash within 30 feet of the building perimeter.
- Restroom Cleaning: Scour and disinfect commodes, urinals, washbasins; mop floors with disinfectant; clean mirrors and partitions.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep and mop floors; vacuum carpets weekly; maintain vinyl composition tile floors by spot cleaning and polishing as needed.
- Monthly/Semi-Annual Cleaning: Clean all interior glass panels monthly; dust high ledges and tops of doors monthly; strip and wax vinyl composition tile floors every six months.

The contractor must also provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on September 1, 2025, and will expire on August 31, 2030. There is an option for a six-month extension if necessary.

All services will be performed at the Department of Public Safety office located at 5816 Azle Avenue, Lakeworth, Texas.
