Background
The City of Georgetown is initiating a construction project for the Lake Water Treatment Plant Zebra Mussel Mitigation, aimed at addressing zebra mussel infestations in the water supply. The project involves the installation of a new copper ion system facility, which is critical for maintaining water quality and supporting the city's mission to provide safe drinking water.

Work Details
The project entails furnishing, installing, and providing all labor and materials necessary for constructing a new copper ion system facility at the Lake Water Treatment Plant. This includes:
- A copper ion unit
- Associated piping and valves
- Structural improvements
- Architectural enhancements
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing work
- Civil engineering tasks
- Electrical installations

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and continue until the completion of the project, with bids due by May 12, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register on the City of Georgetown's bid website. They are required to submit a Bid Security in the form of a sealed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check.
