Jasper Janitorial Services

Background
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking bids for janitorial services at their Jasper office location. The mission of DPS is to ensure the safety and security of the public. This contract aims to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both employees and visitors at the facility located at 2398 W. Gibson, Jasper, TX 75951.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and cleaning chemicals necessary for janitorial services. Services include:
- Night-time custodial service starting after 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday.
- Daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, disinfecting drinking fountains, washing doors and baseboards, cleaning microwaves and refrigerators in break areas, picking up trash within 30 feet of the building perimeter, and emptying trash containers daily.
- Restroom cleaning including scouring commodes and urinals, mopping floors with disinfectant soap, cleaning mirrors and partitions, and refilling dispensers daily.
- Floor maintenance including sweeping and damp mopping various types of flooring as per manufacturer instructions.
- Monthly cleaning tasks such as cleaning interior glass panels and dusting high ledges.
- Semi-annual floor stripping and waxing services coordinated with DPS.
- Compliance with pandemic protocols as required by DPS during health emergencies.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on September 1, 2025, and will expire on August 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Texas Department of Public Safety office located at 2398 W. Gibson, Jasper, TX 75951.
