Janitorial Services - Sun Metro (Re-Bid

Background
The City of El Paso is issuing a solicitation for janitorial services for its Sun Metro facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all transit centers and related facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, supporting the mission of Sun Metro to provide safe and reliable public transportation services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services across multiple locations, including:
- Downtown TC
- Westside TC
- Mission Valley TC
- Glory Road TC
- Eastside TC
- Five Points TC
- Northgate TC
- Union Depot
- Transit Operations Center
- Union Plaza TT.

Estimated service hours per site are as follows:
- Downtown TC: 618 hours/month
- Westside TC: 366 hours/month
- Mission Valley TC: 528 hours/month
- Glory Road TC: 400 hours/month
- Eastside TC: 618 hours/month
- Five Points TC: 366 hours/month
- Northgate TC: 408 hours/month
- Union Depot: 440 hours/month
- Transit Operations Center: 496 hours/month
- Union Plaza TT: 324 hours/month.

Total estimated monthly janitorial man-hours are approximately 5,168. The contractor is responsible for cleaning supplies and equipment, maintaining cleanliness in both interior and exterior areas including parking lots and sidewalks. Additional services may include extra cleaning on-call services and carpet cleaning at the Transit Operations Center every six months.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award in October 2025 and will continue for a specified duration as outlined in the final agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various Sun Metro locations throughout El Paso, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate commercial experience in custodial services. They must comply with safety regulations and provide necessary documentation regarding equipment and personnel. Contractors must also ensure that all staff undergo training related to safety procedures and the use of cleaning chemicals.
