Janitorial Services for TxDOT Burnet Maintenance

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is issuing this solicitation to establish a contract for janitorial maintenance services at the TxDOT Burnet Maintenance facility, which is part of Highway District 14.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, supporting the agency's mission to provide safe and reliable transportation.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services, which include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas;
- Vacuuming carpets;
- Mopping floors;
- Dusting surfaces;
- Emptying trash receptacles;
- Ensuring that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained.
Services must be performed during specified hours between 5:30 PM and 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, excluding state and federal holidays.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a period specified in the final agreement, with performance evaluations conducted periodically.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the TxDOT Burnet Maintenance facility located at 3029 State Highway 29 East, Burnet, TX 78611.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Vendors must maintain all necessary licenses and certifications throughout the term of the contract.
Additionally, attendance at a mandatory pre-response conference on May 27, 2026, is required for eligibility to submit a bid.
