Janitorial Services for TxDOT Burnet Maintenance

Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking to establish a contract for janitorial maintenance services at the TxDOT Burnet Maintenance facility, located in Highway District 14. The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, which is essential for the agency's operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive janitorial services including but not limited to: cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas; vacuuming carpets; mopping floors; dusting surfaces; emptying trash receptacles; and replenishing supplies as necessary.

All work must be performed between the hours of 5:30 PM and 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, excluding state and federal holidays.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for a period of one year, with options for renewal based on performance evaluations.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the TxDOT Burnet Maintenance facility located at 3029 State Highway 29 East, Burnet, TX 78611.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. They must also maintain all required licenses and certifications throughout the contract term.

A mandatory pre-response conference will be held on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Time at the TxDOT Burnet Maintenance location. Attendance is required for consideration.
