Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids to establish a purchase order for pest control services at the Dalhart Unit. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest management within the facility, adhering to applicable federal and state laws.

Work Details
The vendor will provide pest control services that include inspection, extermination, and prevention measures on a monthly basis. Specific duties include:

1. Monthly interior pest control for 12 months, including treatment of various pests such as rats, mice, bedbugs, cockroaches, fleas, ticks, ants, flies, spiders, and more.
2. Emergency service calls (up to 4 per year).
3. Quarterly exterior pest control for the kennel area (4 times per year).
4. Bi-annual exterior pest control for two unit pickets and the warden's house (2 times per year).
5. Compliance with TDCJ policies and safety requirements during service delivery.
6. The vendor must provide a licensed pesticide applicator for all services rendered.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on September 1, 2025, and continue through August 31, 2026, with options to renew for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the TDCJ Dalhart Unit located at 1950 FM 998, Dalhart, TX 79022.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Commercial Applicators License and provide Pesticide Applicator Licenses for each service technician performing work. Additionally, vendors must maintain insurance coverage as specified in the contract requirements.
