Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking bids to establish a purchase order for pest control services at the Houston 6 District Parole Office (DPO). The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest management within the facility, which includes both interior and exterior areas.

Work Details
The vendor will provide pest control services that include inspection, extermination, and prevention measures on a monthly basis. Specific services include:

1. Eradication of indoor populations of pests such as rats, mice, bedbugs, cockroaches, fleas, ticks, mealworms, ants, flies, silverfish, centipedes, millipedes, earwigs, spiders, crickets, wasps, moths, and gnats.
2. Treatment of outdoor pests that could pose an infestation risk.
3. Monthly inspections and treatments in food service areas every 30 days and other areas every 90 days.
4. Emergency service calls within 72 hours upon request at an additional charge.
5. Compliance with TDCJ policies and safety requirements during service delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on September 01, 2025, and continue through August 31, 2026. There are options to renew for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the TDCJ Houston 6 DPO located at 10110 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77092.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of Pesticide Applicator Licenses for each service technician performing work and a Commercial Applicators License. Vendors must also maintain specified insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability and Worker’s Compensation as required by Texas law.
