Isolation Valve Project

Background
The City of Greenville is issuing a solicitation for the Isolation Valve Project, aimed at enhancing the city's water infrastructure.
The project is overseen by the City Manager, Summer Spurlock, and involves the installation of various isolation valves as part of the city's public works initiatives.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing the following isolation valves:
1. 12 units of 6” Isolation Valves
2. 8 units of 8” Isolation Valves
3. 3 units of 12” Isolation Valves
4. 2 units of 16” RCP Isolation Valves with linestop.
All work must comply with City specifications, including full compensation for all materials, equipment, tools, and labor necessary to complete each item in place.

Period of Performance
The construction must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the City.

Place of Performance
The project will take place within the City of Greenville, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a cashier's or certified check or a Bidder’s bond from a reliable surety company for at least 5% of the total bid amount as a guarantee.
A performance bond and payment bond are required if the contract price exceeds $25,000.
Bidders must also provide a qualification statement and comply with Texas Government Code Chapter 2252 regarding non-resident bidders.
