Background
Integral Care is a community-based organization providing behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services in Travis County, Texas, established in 1967. The agency is classified as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and operates under the governance of a ten-member Board of Trustees.

The purpose of this contract is to solicit bids for Mental Health Awareness Training Instructors to support the agency's mission of enhancing mental health awareness and education within the community, particularly for veterans and their families.

Work Details
The Successful Bidder will provide Mental Health Awareness Training Instructor(s) who are qualified as Qualified Mental Health Professionals. The instructor must be a veteran or have experience working with veterans and their families. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM), Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS), and Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) trainings.
- Scheduling at least two MHFA trainings per month in coordination with Integral Care.
- Conducting community outreach to educate veterans, service personnel, families, caregivers, and service providers about mental health awareness.
- Providing reports on community outreach and training attendance upon request.

Integral Care will supply all necessary training materials at no cost. The contract cost shall not exceed $1,698.50 per month.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence around June 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout Travis County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate qualifications as Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) if applicable. They should provide proof of certification as Mental Health First Aid Instructors and experience working with veterans. Additionally, bidders must maintain insurance coverage including general liability of $2 million per claim and $3 million aggregate, automobile liability if applicable, and worker’s compensation meeting statutory limits.
