Invitation For Bid - Districtwide Urgent Roof Repairs

Background
The Austin Independent School District (AISD) is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide on-call, urgent roof repair services at various District facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure the timely repair of roofs across AISD properties, including portable classrooms and various roofing systems, to maintain safety and operational integrity.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary for urgent roof repairs. The scope includes:

1. Repairs to roofs on portable classrooms;
2. Low-slope roofing systems including built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen, and single-ply membrane;
3. Steep-slope roofing systems such as metal standing seam and shingle roofs.

Services include emergency response to leaks and storm damage with specified response times based on urgency. All work must minimize disruption to District operations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect for an initial term of two years from the date of award, with the possibility of three one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various AISD facilities district-wide in Austin, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in commercial roofing repairs and must comply with all applicable federal laws if federal funds are utilized. Required forms include Bid Form, Bid Certification, Notification of Criminal History of Contractor, Debarment Certification, EDGAR Vendor Certification, Strategic Partner Profile, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (CIQ), and Form W-9.
