Insulation Project In El Paso

Background
The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking a contractor to provide all labor and materials necessary for the installation of closed cell spray polyurethane foam on ceilings at Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss, Texas.
The goal of this contract is to ensure proper insulation as there is currently no existing insulation due to its removal through a separate contract.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following:
1. Provide and apply an average thickness of 7.5-to-8 inches R30 of closed cell spray polyurethane foam on approximately 12,200 square feet of ceiling.
2. Ensure that surfaces are structurally sound, dry, even, and free from contaminants prior to application.
3. Protect adjacent areas from overspray by masking and covering them appropriately.
4. Maintain a clean and safe work area, providing daily cleanup and mitigating dust in the work area.
5. Dispose of all removed items according to federal, state, and local regulations.
6. Conduct a pre-work walk-through with TMD's Project Manager before commencing work.
7. Provide tracking logs for hazardous materials and ensure TMD has first rights to salvageable materials.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the notice of award and must be completed within 45 business days from that date.
